SHOWFIELD / FUN FIELD

  • The Showfields (or Fun Field) are designated areas at the events where vehicles are showcased and may win awards. Participating is the best opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts. We’re glad to have you join us!
  • The information, rules and regulations on this document applies to every event listed on the chart below.

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS

  • To be showcased, your vehicle must be in the same brand family as the event name.
  • If you are not sure which event best fits your vehicle, just ask us.

REGISTRATION BENEFITS

  • The ability to park your vehicle on the Showfield/Fun Field.
  • Admission for the driver and one passenger each day of the event (children 12 and under are admitted free).
  • A Goody Bag.
  • Your vehicle will be eligible to win awards.

HOW TO REGISTER

  • Call 717-243-7855
  • Online at store.carlisleevents.com
  • If you need to park tow vehicles, trailers, support vehicles, or want to camp, make those reservations when registering your show vehicle (more information below).

PRE-REGISTER / “GATE-N-GO”

  • Pre-register for the events by the “Gate-N-Go” deadlines and get your vehicle stickers in the mail instead of picking them up when you arrive.

ARRIVAL AT THE EVENT

IF YOU REGISTERED BEFORE GATE-N-GO
  • We will mail your vehicle sticker to you.
  • If you want to bring a different show vehicle, update your registration online: Update Showfield Registration
  • Apply the vehicle sticker to the vehicle you registered for the Showfield before arrival, and then you may drive directly in Gate 3 to the Showfield.
LOST/FORGOTTEN STICKER
  • Replacement of stickers is at full registration price, and available at the Registration Building.
IF YOU REGISTERED AFTER GATE-N-GO
  • Stickers will not be mailed. Pick up your sticker at the Registration Building (outside of Gate 3), place it on your vehicle, then drive through Gate 3 to park on the Showfield.
  • If you brought a different show vehicle (not a daily driver, and relevant to the event) tell us and we’ll correct your registration and exchange your sticker.
IF YOU REGISTER AT THE EVENT
  • Go to the Registration Building (outside of Gate 3) to register for the Showfield/Fun Field.

AFTER PARKING ON THE SHOWFIELD

  • Pick up your Goody Bag, Dash Card and any other items we may have for you (i.e. Participant Voting Ballot, etc.) at the Guest Services Building.

PARKING FOR TOW VEHICLES, TRAILERS, & SUPPORT VEHICLES

  • Tow vehicles, trailers, and support vehicles are not permitted on the Showfield.
  • Tow vehicles, trailers and support vehicles may be parked in a designated area. Fees apply and locations vary by event.
  • It is recommended that Showfield participants reserve trailer and support vehicle parking spaces in advance.

CAMPING

  • You may not camp/sleep overnight on the Showfield.
  • Dry camping (tents and RVs welcome) is available at all events except the Truck Nationals.
  • The camping area for Import and GM is located on-grounds.
  • The camping area for all other events is in the Spring Road Parking Lot on a mix of grass and pavement. It’s about a block to walk from that area to Gate 1.
  • Camping entrance: 119 Carlisle Springs Road Carlisle, PA 17013
  • Two bathhouses are available on the fairgrounds, and showers are free. Hours are posted at the buildings.
  • Showfield participants should reserve camping space in advance.

SHOWFIELD REGULATIONS

No saving space on any part of the Showfield at any time during any event.

“FOR SALE” SIGNS
  • For Sale signs are not permitted on Showfield vehicles.
  • If you would like to sell your vehicle, please buy a Car Corral space from the Vendor Services office. Your vehicle must then be moved to your Car Corral space. The Car Corral is a dedicated area of the event where only vehicles are for sale (no parts, etc.).
VENDING
  • You may not sell anything on the Showfield. No parts, no food, no beverages.
  • If you have automotive parts you’d like to sell, you may purchase a space in the flea market where you can display them and conduct business.
  • Clubs may sell club merchandise from their club tents.

TENTS/CANOPIES

  • Space permitting, you may set up a canopy behind your vehicle (10 ft. x 10 ft. maximum size).
  • Personal canopies/tents must be securely tethered and owners are liable for any damages.
  • Remove all canopies in windy and storm conditions.
  • All personal canopies/tents must be removed daily (this includes the frame and the fabric).

DRIVING ON-GROUNDS

  • Patron safety is everyone’s responsibility.
  • Your show vehicle is to remain parked from the time you arrive through the time you leave - daily.

NOISE

  • The volume of radios, stereos, TVs, loudspeakers, etc., should not disturb or be a nuisance to others.

FIRES

  • Open fires and fire pits are prohibited.

PETS

  • Please do not bring your pets. Pavement gets very hot, some animals are aggressive, and accidents happen.
  • We do permit pets, however, under the following guidelines:
    • Leashed at all times; provide them with food/water/shade; pick up and dispose of their waste; and keep them away from other pets and patrons.
    • No pets in the Food Court.
    • Do not leave your pets in your vehicles at any time.
    • Pets must have current vaccines and licenses.
    • Your pet must be under your control at all times. You are fully responsible for its actions. Any offensive or unsafe actions by your pet or as the owner, will result in expulsion without refund.

ALCOHOL

  • Disorderly persons will not be tolerated. No glass bottles.
  • Sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
  • Providing alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of 21 is prohibited by law in Pennsylvania.

DRONES

  • No remotely controlled aircraft or ground vehicle devices are authorized to operate on, above or below the Carlisle Fairgrounds at any time without the written consent of Carlisle Events, surrounding Federal Installations and law enforcement authorities.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, unmanned aircraft systems, radio controlled model aircraft, other devices that can be operated in airspace and remote controlled cars/ground vehicles (collectively, “Drones”).
  • Individuals given approval to operate Drones by Carlisle Events, must provide a picture of the Drone; current physical address/phone number; and a copy of a valid pilot’s license and any other information requested by Carlisle Events.

CLUBS

  • Clubs may have designated parking areas on the Showfield at the Import, Truck and Corvette events. Club tents at other events are placed as advantageously as possible. Tents and areas are marked on maps and signs.
  • Awards are given to clubs with the most registered vehicles and to the clubs with the coolest hangouts (club tent). If your club registers 25 or more vehicles, you may be eligible to register for a free club tent.

MOBILITY SCOOTERS

  • Personal scooters may be used at any time by people with mobility challenges.
  • Rental of scooters is provided by Scootaround. Contact them in advance to make a reservation. (1-888-441-7575 or https://bit.ly/3oRQW2l).

TAXI SERVICE

  • We can shuttle people anywhere on-grounds on a golf cart. Call 717-960-6429.

MERCHANDISE HAULING SERVICE

  • For assistance transporting merchandise from the flea market to your vehicle, call 717-960-6429.

HAND CART RENTALS

  • You may rent hand carts at Guest Services to transport merchandise. Guest Services holds
